Does it always happen with the same actions/gestures? Probably the problem is
your uTouch stack, that is directly integrated into X11, what version are you
using?

I recall it happening many times on a two-finger drag, but that's also the
gesture I use the most, so hardly a useful observation. I'll pay more attention
to the next crashes.
uTouch versions:
$ pacman -Q geis grail frame
geis 2.2.16-1
grail 3.1.0-1
frame 2.5.0-1

What action do you have associated with the 2 fingers drag gesture?
The versions of your packages look right, they are the same that Ubuntu 14.04
LTS is using. I'm sorry but I thing I'll not be able to help you here much
becuase I don't have an ArchLinux box. You can report the bug at
https://launchpad.net/canonical-multitouch
Where the uTouch developers will give you more information

<gesture type="DRAG" fingers="2" direction="ALL">
<action type="SCROLL">SPEED=7:INVERTED=true</action>
</gesture>
Thank you, knowing I should look into uTouch is already a step forward!
