401 error #3

I can fetch http://hostname:14000/webhdfs/v1/?op=GETHOMEDIRECTORY in a browser with no problem, but when I use Net::Hadoop::WebHDFS I get 401 authorization error. My HttpFS is NOT using Kerberos. I do NOT need to enter any password in the browser. Please help.
