[FR] Overview assigned tasks to user #34

Hello guys,

thanks for taiga!! great tool!

Working with the scrum functionality and having multiple userstories leads to the problem, that you can't identify to which task a user is assigned to. Would be great, if there's an overview page to have a quick look, to which tasks a user is assigend.

Hi @xcojonny, Thanks for your kind words! If I understand correctly, what you are trying to achieve can be done using the filter functionality, specifically the "Assigned to" filter, Have you tried it? Is that what you need? Cheers

Hej, Thanks for you fast reply. Yes. I already tried. But you only see the tasks within a selected Project, but more importantly you only see user stories and not the tasks defined within a user Story.

So extending the filtering capabilities and/or havin an overviewpage per user for assigned tasks would be super awesome.

May I add here that what is missing currently is a view that displays a list of work items (epics, user stories, tasks and issues) with a set of information that

"Search" view seems to be fitting the bill, but it has several issues:

  1. It requires a nonempty search term before opening the view (that search term can later be cleared so that all issues will be displayed any way)
  2. It is entirely unclear what the search is searching over. My initial impression is that the search functionality only searches over title and description of work items, but since there is no explanation, I can't be sure.
  3. There is no way to filter search results by status or any other content attributes.
