You probably know this, but once you have installed the version in the QNAP store, you can then update to the latest by downloading the .qpkg from github and do a manual install it via AppCenter. Works for me.
That does work, installing the qpkg from here updates tailscale and continues working for me. However, the updated version doesn't seem to have the qnap app center website authentication feature you get on 1.40.0 when you hit "open", so just be warned in case you want to change tailnets ever... Would be great if they just actually updated the app center more frequently...
Hi, I wondered if someone could help me out with best practice regarding this.
I manually updated to 1.58.2-1 on my QNAP today and it seems to be connected and working.
When I did this, I first stopped 1.40, then installed 1.58.2-1, after doing that 1.40 is still showing and stopped, I wondered if it is okay to remove it or not - are there any dependencies there?
Thanks for your time!
The version in App center is still 1.40.0, will the new version publish to App center?
