Tunnel stays active after Mac is asleep #4587

Open ryanofrivia opened 2 years ago

ryanofrivia commented 2 years ago

What is the issue?

I am not sure if this is per design or just an unfortunate behavior.

When my Mac goes to sleep the Tunnel stays alive endlessly. I would really like to see the tunnel disconnect when the computer is asleep.

Steps to reproduce

Are there any recent changes that introduced the issue?

No response

OS

macOS

I'm having a similar problem but the fact when the machine wakes, the whole tunnel stops working.

Note:

Perhaps the issue I have is different to the one you're seeing.

Though I understand why one might want this, the behavior is intentional. Closing the laptop shouldn't be a simple way to get it to stop using a VPN and send its traffic over the open Internet.
