Script error and no streetpasses #18

Closed beauwilliams closed 8 years ago

I receive this error when each MAC is spoofed with the script: \ Error: The amount of parameters was not correct.

I am not getting any streetpass hits, I can confirm that it usually works for me if I spoof one MAC by changing it in terminal with: ifconfig en1 ether (MAC)

I have ran this script an had this error each time, never received streetpass either. I checked with ifconfig and the MAC addresses never changed while the script ran

Any help? I would love to get this working

Macbook Pro late 2011, OSX 10.10.2 (Beta)

Can you post a full log of your output? I'm not seeing this on 10.10.1 with the latest master.

I'm inclined to say we're not going to make any changes that primarily support a beta of the OS, since that could easily be fixed by release, but it would be good to check what's causing it!

Looks to me like something broke in 10.10.2 related to how we look up the interfaces. I will certainly take a look once the release of that version occurs, but for now I have no way to test it (and it may be resolved by Apple before it hits a final release).
