I'm running a fresh install of Windows 11 21H2, so far I've tried KB5022609, KB5023527, KB5021041, KB5021043 and KB5012419 and every time I get "The specified package is not applicable to this image." There is no Safe OS Dynamic update specifically for Win 11 21H2, so which one is for that release?

EDIT: Further to this, in the Dism.log I found these entries:

2023-03-27 09:26:30, Info CBS Appl: detect Parent, Package: Package_for_KB5023527~31bf3856ad364e35~amd6422621.1340.1.0, Parent: WinPE-SRT-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd6410.0.22621.1, Disposition = Detect, VersionComp: EQ, BuildComp: EQ, RevisionComp: GE, Exist: present 2023-03-27 09:26:30, Info CBS Appl: detectParent: related parent found: WinPE-SRT-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.22000.194, which is not real parent

This seems to indicate that the WinPE-SRT package it's detecting is 10.0.22000.194 which is Win 11 Pro 21H2 and there is no SafeOS dynamic update for that version of Win 11. I'm seeing entries like this no matter which patch I try to apply.

What version of Windows 11 are you currently running? Can you tell me the output of winver?

Johnster001 commented 1 year ago

As stated, I'm running 21H2, Winver shows 22000.1817.
