Did you install after wiping data/cache/davlik cache or dirty flash(no
wipe)  This must be answered honestly for us to help.

Suggestion:
when pop up show up asking what app to open, "just once" is selected by default 
(radio button). this is very efficient, only one click every if we don't want 
set default app to open. Saw this feature in xylon and purity Rom. see screen 
shot attached.
