Fix wrong `-spec().` #145

This is basically #133 adapted to the most jsx recent code (two releases were done, in the meantime, though, and this issue resurfaced).

Cheers to the original implementation 🎉.

I ended up replacing this one with a "deeper" #146. The adventure continues on that one.
