Error applying iptables rules. Exit code: 2 #59

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Applying the first rules I ever made.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
it should be OK, instead it reads:
ipatbles v1.4.7: can't initialize iptables table 'filter': Table does not exist
(do you need insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 1.6 on Optimus Boston (Orange Boston, Gigabyte G1305)

Sorry, but this error message means that your kernel does not support the
netfilter module (mandatory for DroidWall to work).

This is a kernel configuration defined at compile-time, so it is not possible
to change it later.

DroidWall will unfortunately not work on your ROM.
You can always try to find an alternative ROM with iptables/netfilter support,
then DroidWall will work.
