Failure to execute "su" command #67

I have download latest version of droidwall. 
When i trying to apply the rules in my application for my device HTC wildfire. 
The error message as below shown :
"Could not acquire root access. you need a rooted phone to run droidwall"
If this phone is already rooted. Pls make sure Droidwall has enough permission 
to execute the "su" command. 
Error message:
java.ioException:error running exec(). Commands:[su,-c, / 
data/data/com.googlecode.droidwall/cache/droidwall.sh]Working directory:null 
environment:null

Pls help me

Are you sure your phone is rooted? This error means exactly what the message 
says: you need a rooted phone to run droidwall.

Not rooted phone. How can i root it ?

Each device has its own, unique way of "rooting". You can google: "DEVICE_NAME 
root" to try to find the specific instructions for your device.
You may also try the UniversalAndroot app, which works with most (but not all) 
devices: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=747598
