Transfer of EXACT database settings from one Nintendo Switch to another! #61

Dear all, please can anybody advise if it is possible to transfer the complete Triplayer / album settings to another Nintendo Switch? I have spent hours renaming / adding mp3 's to specific albums as I wish. But when I transfer the music folder from one SD card to another, it all resets again to what order I DONT want!! I am hoping there is some database / file I can just copy across to SD card 2, which will hopefully retain the album order that I have setup on SD card 1........ I look forward to hearing from any of you. Many thanks

Try copying the /switch/TriPlayer/ and /config/TriPlayer/ folders across. If that still doesn't work it'll probably be because the timestamps are being updated when you copy the music across

Hi TB,

Thankyou so much for your kind response, unfortunately neither of the above suggestions have worked! My reason behind wanting to resolve this issue a.s.a.p. is I'm on vacation in four weeks' time & wish to take the OLED switch with me. I spent hours & hours setting up another Switch with the music tracks added just as I needed. What I wish to also do is spread the exact same config on the six others switches that I own...... Have you any more suggestions or magic you could weave please??

With regards

I believe I added an option to skip processing files when you launch the app - if you turn that on it should keep everything as it is (provided everything has been copied across). However this means you won't be able to add or remove songs without having it rescan and reset everything.

Otherwise if you can do a raw clone of the SD card it should keep the timestamps intact, meaning TriPlayer won't try to rescan and mess up your library.
