Looks like issue #121 is back.

After moving notes:

there is 2 empty lines instead of one where they were
there is no empty line between the now moved notes

Possibly a \n got lost in the regex that identifies a footnote. It's rather recent (1 month?).

Reverting this commit fixes the issue:

Fix longstanding logic error in moving footnotes

reverted. Not sure now what I saw. No doubt it will come up again some time.
