Screen turns one color #259

Whenever I try to play, the entire screen just turns to one color. It changes based on what blocks I'm looking at, and whenever I pull up my inventory I can see the area around me, but whenever I am just looking around the entire window is basically blank. Even when I press esc the menu won't show up, it's just a blank dark gray screen.

I'm having the same problem, did you find a solution?

I think I remember that it only ended up happening when I was holding the quest book. I believe I fixed it by forcing Minecraft to use my nvidia graphics card, or downgrading my intel driver but I don’t entirely remember.
