Really it seems to reset when you load a game, so if you accidentally push the wrong key then what you are use to could reset to the other keybinding set, and there is currently no way to change it back.
Solution is to do Both of these:
1: Add key binding viewing/changing in options menu
2: Add sticky key settings to save files.
