i'm noticing regularly occurring when using one or more servos

the irregularities seem like two types: 1) communication drop outs (some messsages missed, it then keeps going, 2) freak out (servo must be receiving funny signals, takes 2-5 seconds of freak out, then comes back)

wow! i love bug reports in the form of youtube videos. i wonder if this is because the buffer is overrun or you're polling the arduino too often. can you post your maxpatch?

the max patch is ULTRA simple. i don't have it cuz i didn't bother saving it.

it's two cycle~ objects at, say, 1.2hz and 1.6hz, going into two snapshot~ objects, say with argument of 20,

sending servo positions thru oscuino.
