Materials, Colours & Case files #122

I think the materials section is off-putting and garish. Can we reduce the parameter to be called colours, and select fewer alternatives? (I know that there is a strong case to keep materials as a default - but for this product - couldn't we have plastics instead?).

This would mean having different defaults for different products... Is this feasible?

Notes 

     the colours as they stand are too shiny and Garish... we need to do some work on making them look more realistic - i.e. duller.

I would like to include the iPhone in the Case file - is this possible? Is it wise... ??

I understand that when we finalise the Skins case design - we will assign text parameters, views for various aspects of the design and also material parameters. Which addresses many of the points adequatley for the Designers preview - this point on materials will aalso be a natural development of specific design scenarios - so we can close this point.
