Is using the same model with different materials and option, even without pre processing? #135

Not sure we need to render all the materials and colours - cant we just have a block of colour? Or a close up Photo of each material - as with Shapeways? Or as noted in the heading - use one processed model for all renders - rather than re processing each time?

Sorry not clear... the materials part of the process builds and renders the whole model again and again and again... can we cheat this by using the same model or just having swatches or actual photos of the materials... ??
