Generally speaking, these days most people don't do much with RSS unless they are using it as a data transmission method. For example, some media publishers provide playlists via a spec called MRSS, which is RSS with a set structure. I think it is best to just provide the RSS feed and let the subscribers RSS reader of choice worry about how it renders things. We can take a look at what is being included perhaps, just to make sure it has everything we'd like to publish in the feed. Beyond that, just let WP do its thing.
Sounds good to me. I think what WP is throwing in there by default is really all I would care to have anyways. So I think we can safely scratch this off the list.
I have really not touched the site's RSS feed at all. I'm just letting WordPress generate it's default feed. It's actually not terrible:

That being said ... do we care enough about RSS to jazz it up a bit or customize its presentation?
