Hi Luca Canali,

I understand that the excel sheet has to be downloaded to the desktop before it can connect and fetch data from the database. If for instance we do not have a windows desktop/remote desktop that can directly connect to the database, what do I do....... Is there an alternative way to download the data and feed it to the excell sheet? Please let me know......

Regards, K.Diwakar

The original PerfSheet that I wrote connected directly from Excel to the database.

But the updated v4 by Luca Canali (https://externaltable.blogspot.com/2013/02/awr-analytics-and-oracle-performance.html) can use CSV files that you can extract from your DB and copy to the workstation.

Hi Tanelpoder, Thank you for responding back to my query...... I see that the download link on the webpage that you have shared is not working because of which I tried to check with the older version of it....... I have asked over the same in the comment section as well and will wait to hear back....

Regards, K.Diwakar

Hi @tanelpoder thanks for reporting this. Indeed the hosting service for my home page seems to have issues at the moment. I'll follow up (now fixed). BTW Perfsheet can be found directly on github at https://github.com/LucaCanali/PerfSheet4

and also the "browser version" based on javascript : https://github.com/LucaCanali/PerfSheet.js

Best, Luca
