Hints for those who are not quite clear on what they need to do to "log into Gitlab.com using your Github account". In a web browser:

1. If you already have a GitLab.com account a. Sign in to it, go to Settings | Account | Social Signin, and Connect Github. b. Sign out, or open a private / incognito window If you don't already have a Gitlab.com account, step 2 will create one for you.
2. Navigate to GitLab.com, click on Sign in / register, choose sign in with Github, and sign in.
