Hints for those who are not quite clear on what they need to do to "log into Gitlab.com using your Github account". In a web browser:
Settings | Account | Social Signin
, and Connect Github
.
b. Sign out, or open a private / incognito window
If you don't already have a Gitlab.com account, step 2 will create one for you.Sign in / register
, choose sign in with Github
, and sign in.We plan to move the repository to GitLab (see https://github.com/tango-controls/TangoTickets/issues/47) on Monday, 08.03.2021. @HelgaMond, @IvanKucherov, @KrystianKedron, @LJBD, @Matteo04052017, @chedburgh, @dlacoste-esrf, @hasrifa2003, @mrosanes, @mugerin, @smartsammler, @stanislaw55, @widaborz, it seems you have contributed to Tango Controls documentation but do not have an account on GitLab or an email(s) associated with it does not match any for your GitHub account. Please log-into Gitlab.com using your Github account ASAP before 08.03.2021, so the migrated repository can keep track of your contributions properly.
Dear tango-doc participant (via commits, comments on issue or pull requests, issue creator),
If you have contributed in any way (commit, issue or Pull Request creation or comment) to tango-doc, please log into Gitlab.com using your Github account ASAP. See https://github.com/tango-controls/TangoTickets/issues/47 for details.
For convenience, here is the list of contributors we could already find (and who did not signal they had done it yet for another repo):
Please click on the following link and add your github account name to this framapad when you've already done the login to Gitlab.com using your Github account: https://mensuel.framapad.org/p/migration_ready_2548763689
Please note that login on gitlab.com using your Github account is safe and doesn't give your Github password to Gitlab.
Thanks for your cooperation.
