Can't always boot from usb-stick using usb-hub #15

When I use an usb stick to boot linux, all goes well. If I attach the calculator to an powered usb-hub with the usb stick in the hub, the stick isn't found. Though sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

I use the mini A <-> mini B cable to connect the calculator to the hub. The A-side goes in the calculator. Calculator model: TI-Nspire CAS Production code thing : P-0510B OS: 3.6

Hmmm. I think the problem is with the usb-hub. I found an article online about something called 'backfeeding', which much cheap usb-hubs do. Since I have a cheap one, I guess that backfeeding might be the problem?

Closing this for now, since it seems to be not a bug at all I guess...

Ok. My guess was wrong. 'backfeeding' is not the problem, my usb-hub has a protection against that.... So then I don't know what the problem is. Reopening this issue.
