On my next mission I want to make a proper Von Neumann probe. I noticed a very recent commit added some behavior that would enable this. This is either an incredible coincidence or someone's been looking out for me. :) Anyway, I made this for the upcoming mission.

The part.cfg is largely based off the Workshop. The construction drone requires the offworld manufacturing tech node from the Community Tech Tree Mod, so the part will only appear when the CTT Mod is installed.

The mesh is taken from the Civilian Population Mod. The Civilian Population Mod had a part much like this that could be used when both it and Extraplanetary Launchpads were installed. However, this part was never ported to newer releases of KSP.

I've tested the part on a personal backport for KSP 1.2. If you're interested in the backport, I have it available here: https://github.com/davidson16807/Extraplanetary-Launchpads/tree/1.2-backport.

BTW, I appreciate the project Makefiles. They more or less worked out of the box on my Linux distro.

I have not tested this part for KSP 1.3.

No major issues. The alignment on the construction drone part is off but I can fix that.
