It easily gets annoying when you mis-click around the active vessel and the UI for a given static's facility module opens (due to that static occupying a lot of the screen or that portion of the screen where you click). There's no ability to click again to close it (apart from going out of your way to reach the caption button for it), and no switch in the Difficulty Settings UI to turn this off. There is an in-flight KK menu to access all of these facilities (I think it's the Base Boss) so this request isn't unwittingly asking to completely lock off or disable facilities. Players can go to that when they need to.
