Buttons don't open any new box, nothing happens. #6

First thanks for your time coding this.

When I click a button like "citation" for instance, no new window or dialog opens, nothing happens.

I ran install.py, it worked. Zotero is open when I try. I restarted a couple of times. There is no change. WPS 12.2, windows 11

Maybe it opened in the background? You can check if there's another window in the Zotero group on your taskbar and bring it to front by clicking it. This happens when you work on new documents and the citation preference window will probably be opened in the background.

Thanks for sharing. Btw, I've came across a similar problem: ran the install.py successfully, with nothing happened in my wps, after reboost the system, even did not show the Zotero in my wps. With MacOs 14.0 (23A344), WPS 6.2.2（8394）

This addon is based on the WPS JSAPI, which is unfortunately not available on MacOS yet.
