原版的简体中文语言文件大量使用了机器直译，翻译质量很差。问题如下：

术语，不能使用英文直译，因为国内对很多英文图像软件中的术语都有了专门的中文术语。举例如下： Temperature（色温）、Gradient（渐变，做算法时翻译成梯度）、map（映射），等等很多

滤镜名称，各家翻译都不太一样，这就要根据滤镜具体效果来做翻译，例如： Plastic wrap，这个词条本意是保鲜膜，但是滤镜效果是塑料布包裹物体之后的样子，所以我翻译成塑料布 Pinch and whirl 中的Pinch ，本意是戳、捏，但是实际滤镜效果是戳（向里）和拽（向外）两种，所以我翻译成戳拽和旋转 Poke 本意是戳，但是滤镜效果也分向里和向外，为了方便外行理解，我翻译成戳拽 Ripple 本意是波纹，但是大多数图像软件都翻译为涟漪，这是个约定俗成的译法 Squish 本意是果酱，英文指的是挤压成像果酱的那种特效，所以我翻译成挤压 等等，此类词条有很多，我大部分都是看了PhotoDemon的效果之后才酌情翻译的，尽量保证让外行也能直观看懂

算法名称，尽量使用业内约定，某些算法不需要翻译成中文（因为没啥意义） Symmetric nearest-neighbor，这个可以翻译成对称近邻，但是业内约定的说法直接叫做SNN算法 Unsharp mask也是一样，业内直接叫做USM锐化 Kuwahara、Prewitt、Sobel之类的不需要音译 有些可以音译，例如Summoning M. C. Escher 埃舍尔奇幻特效，Roberts cross edge detection 罗伯茨交叉边缘检测 此类翻译是比较混乱的，基本原则是国内用得多的一般都有中文译名，用得少的保留英文即可

当然，我的翻译版本因为时间和精力的关系，只看了大约80%的词条，还有一部分无伤大雅的我没有理会，如果你想对翻译文件有更新的解释，尽量在我于9月28日发的文件中做更新，不要使用老版本语言文件。这样方便我核对翻译结果的异同。

我看了你发的最新翻译文件，依然使用的是老版本2640个词条，最新的夜间更新版是2657个词条。

稳定版更新很慢。新的语言文件可能要等9.2变成稳定版之后才能发布。耐心等着吧。

Thank you for the comments in this thread, everyone.

I would like to ship a new stable build soon (PhotoDemon 9.2) with some security fixes, bug fixes, and other small improvements. However, I still need to improve some PhotoDemon features that are currently not working well (like JPEG-XL export) before I can release this. I hope these additional features will not take too long.

I have currently merged all the Simplified Chinese changes submitted by @Charltsing . I do not know if this thread includes other changes that need to be submitted. Please let me know if there are any language file improvements I still need to merge.

翻译成尺度或者波动范围都是可以的，但是后者可能更方便国人理解（或者改成波动尺度也可以）。但是在很多功能中（例如云层），这个Scale更像是范围，而不是尺度。 在GIMP中，类似的波动参数是振幅。但是在PhotoDemon中，有的是范围，有的是振幅。所以我使用了一个中间词汇。

scale这个单词在多处出现，例如它的原始翻译位置是在特效--艺术--压花玻璃里面。修改了它的翻译，也许其它地方不一定适合，这需要细致地检查，然后给翻译文件打补丁。

类似此类问题有很多，我没有挨个功能来核对翻译的准确性，因为量太大了。PhotoDemon现在靠打补丁的方式来解决一词多义的问题，这样构造翻译文件就变得更加麻烦。

如果你有时间，可以看一下GIMP的翻译，从而可以参考修正PhotoDemon翻译文件。 我暂时没有时间和精力做这个核对工作。
