That might come in the form of a right click menu, https://github.com/tannerhelland/PhotoDemon/pull/516 But the keyboard shortcut is fast(est) of course.
Perhaps a custom toolbar at some point, see https://github.com/tannerhelland/PhotoDemon/discussions/511
I understand you. When I first launched PhotoDemon after years of using GIMP, my question was the same "Where is the crop tool?". Eventually I found the way and use it. Though, the author can shed light on the feature. Maybe there is something in the current roadmap to improve the crop tool usability.
Thank you for the comments, everyone. There's no particular reason for not including a crop tool in PhotoDemon! Like Paint.NET and other "light" photo editors, PhotoDemon has always just used selection tools to implement cropping. The feature set is basically identical between the two tools, as I understand it?
That said, I have added a dedicated Crop tool to the TODO list for future versions. I'll return with an update when I have something workable to test. Thank you!
Thanks all! Really appreciate this.
