Hello. I love your font and am currently using it for developing my personal website, is there any way to reduce size of the TTF file? 6 MB for a single font that is used only for latin seems like overkill.

Hi there. I'm YuseiMagic's designer. I appreciate you loving the fonts we've created.

And sorry for the inconvenience caused by the large file size. This font contains a lot of Japanese Kanji characters, so its file size has become very huge. This is, as you say, disgusting for those who only need the basic Latin characters.

So, I made a file containing only the Latin characters in the LatinCore_Only branch of this repository, so you can try that file if you like. https://github.com/tanukifont/YuseiMagic/blob/LatinCore_Only/fonts/ttf/YuseiMagicLatinCore-Regular.ttf

Please note - I created this file using a font design application. I'm not well-versed in font engineering, so perhaps there are some issues with this one. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks a lot but I had switched to the other font that fit my website's design. As for suggestions I would suggest to publish that Latin only YuseiMagic version. I don't think there should be any problems since what I suppose you did is only removing glyphs not adding them or anything else. Thanks again for help
