add gnome 3.26 support #9

It is very useful extension, but I was unable to install that in my gnome 3.26.2

You can try to adjust the “shell-version” in metadata.json in the root folder of this project. There are some issues though and at the moment I don’t have time to fix it. I hope the native support of keyboard navigation/selection in overview will finally become useful.

hugoholgersson commented 6 years ago

I'd like to +1 this.

@jtumano, did you get it running on 3.26? If yes, could you share the fix in a pull request so @tanwald can merge it?

hugoholgersson commented 6 years ago

Now that gnome-shell's overview natively supports the arrow keys, I should mention, I need this extension for its "delete"-window-key functionality only. Maybe the delete-functionality could be factored out to its own extension.

@hugoholgersson, I could get it work on gnome 3.26.2, but I haven't permissions to push branch to this repo.

@tanwald please give me this permission

hugoholgersson commented 6 years ago

I suggest you fork and create a pull request, @jtumano.

tanwald commented 6 years ago

Yes, please create a pull request @jtumano Thanks
