1 month ago As a future enhancement to this feature, a "movie of the week" meta TV Series could be created which would contain, say, in its metajson, a set of search criteria which could then yield a list of movies, and check which of those has not been watched by this user in, say, the last 30 or 60 days, and just pick the first of that list. This would allow a spot in the playlist for a movie without pinning a specific move to the list.
Create a means to create, edit, and play playlists based on TV series, where, for example, Mary Tyler Moore Show, Perry Mason, NCIS, and Miss Marple would be listed in the play list, and for each series listed, the "Play next in series" API function would be called. This would afford the user a set of shows, catching the "next to be viewed" episode (or looping back to the beginning if at the end). which could be watched to fill, for example,traditional TV programming blocks: 3 PM to 6PM, 6PM to 9PM, 9PM to midnight
