Remove formatting doesn't work #186

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Format any text anyhow
2. mark text
3. remove formatting

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
format should be removed but isn't

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Some troubles with removing heading fixed now in master.
