I create an account and it is not detected by Fairy #120

I already did the whole process of creating the account and it gave me the correct payment of the same but upon entering Fairy it does not detect it and continues in step one "Get Public Key". I waited for about an hour and went back to see if it took time to detect it but it's still the same. Has anyone had the same thing? What I can do?

I have exactly the same problem. I used https://www.zeos.co/ for account creation, I copied Public Key, created account successfully. Unfortunately Fairy is stuck in section

Application will automatically detect new account once it created

I'm also having this issue. I used https://eos.greymass.com as my node and paid for and created my account using https://eos-account-creator.com and fairy wallet still hasn't detected my account creation. Please help.

basadre commented 4 years ago

I also used https://eos-account-creator.com and I sent them an email but the only thing that answered me was if I had used the key that had generated the ledger, and when I answered what I had done, I did not receive any other mail. I do not know what to do.

@basadre You need to provide more information about the exact problem you are experiencing. Have you used eosflare.io to look your EOS account name up and to see if your Ledger Nano EOS public keys are registered to your EOS account? I could check for you if you want. Just post your EOS account name and I will have a look.

Hi, First of all, thanks for answering. Bellow I indicate my account information in case you can check it. Thank you very much and I wait your response. A greeting. uj41324soeuj By accountcreat (20/11/2019) Total Balance 0.0000 EOS ≈ $0.00 USD ($2.6916)

@basadre I took a look at your EOS account (uj41324soeuj) on the eosflare.io website and I can see that your EOS account has the following active key and owner key assigned to it: EOS61stjha8zDjT5MF4RttRYYQvBHv9zuvm4j9fi4uYfvi3wG8jvV

You need to make sure that this EOS public key is from your Ledger Nano. You can check by doing the following:

  1. Go to the following website: https://bloks.io
  2. On the bloks.io website click on "login", and then click on "Ledger S/X".

Step 1

  1. Now type 0 in the text field box and then click on "Connect USB".

Step 2

  1. The EOS public key that is located at index 44'/194'/0'/0/0 on your Ledger Nano S should now be displayed on your computer's screen.

Step 3

  1. Check if the EOS public key that is displayed on your computer's screen is the same as the EOS key that is listed in your EOS account: EOS61stjha8zDjT5MF4RttRYYQvBHv9zuvm4j9fi4uYfvi3wG8jvV

@Errol1886 Appreiciate the detail reply. I have the same issue and checked as instructed - the corresponding pulic key of my account (thpwb1pyyylt) is the same as the one in my Ledger. The issue still prevails (FairyWallet keep telling to me create a new account), any addditional suggestion on the problem? Thanks!

@ccforest Have you tried uninstalling the Fairy Wallet application from your computer and then reinstalling it? Also, have you tried a different USB lead with your Ledger Nano?

I reinstalled the Fairy Wallet application on my Windows 10 PC and Fairy Wallet is able to find my EOS account. The only thing I have noticed is that Fairy Wallet is not showing any history of the transactions I have made in the past. I don't use Fairy Wallet any more to manage my EOS account as the software is lacking features and is rarely updated. I now either use EOS Voter by Greymass (version 0.7.12) https://github.com/greymass/eos-voter or I use the website https://bloks.io/.

I have the same problem.

I've checked it (using Errol1886 advice above) and it shows a different public key. it also states: OS Version 1.3.1 with arbitrary data disabled.

do I register another account using the public key it is showing?
