Please link to resource metadata - don't just give name of resource #100

Rows in taxon.txt have the name of the originating resource written out, e.g.
"Interim Register of Marine and Nonmarine Genera". From this string it is
difficult to do much such as link to the resource or to information about it.
For consuming applications (such as Open Tree of Life) it would be much better
to provide the id of the resource, e.g. 13556, and provide a table of metadata
for resources. One column of the metadata table might be the URL for the
resource http://www.obis.org.au/irmng/ - which I know to be in your database
because it's displayed on the page for the resource (
http://data.gbif.org/datasets/resource/13556 ).

Thanks
Jonathan

I suspect this is about the downloadable GBIF backbone archive?

Yes, I was referring to file taxon.txt in the GBIF taxonomy Darwin Core archive.
