where is the downloadable archive so that I can look at the nub? #97

which 404s. Please advise.

Related to #96, and now I understand how to find it, so I guess my question is, 
hasn't there been an update since July 2012? Are there any plans to do regular 
updates?

We do not maintain the ECAT development portal anymore, please use the new GBIF 
portal instead:

I explored http://uat.gbif.org for a while and could not find a nub taxonomy 
download or the taxonomy registry.

Are these resources deprecated?

Taxonomic resources are called checklist datasets in the new portal and you can 
search for them in the dataset search like this:

http://uat.gbif.org/dataset/search?type=CHECKLIST

This includes also our GBIF backbone taxonomy which has this details page which 
includes a download link for the entire taxonomy (the same as it used to be). 
Maybe not too easy tos pot, its the "Darwin Core Archive" link on the right 
side below the LINK section:
