region parameter not use in the yaml file when using ai platform training

when using ai platform training with gcloud, the region parameter from the yaml file is not take into account. The default region is used instead.

GCP support team was able to reproduce the issue. The engineering team is looking now for a fix.

It seems that for YAML it is not support. Feature request will be probably created. W eshould move away from gcloud and use Python API.
