I would like to use your rerun2 script, but I believe this is technically illegal (see https://choosealicense.com/no-permission/). If it is your intention to share this script freely with others, I would suggest putting the MIT license. I work at a company and I must not use any software illegally.

I was surprised to see your email, because my project template has a LICENSE in it - but then I remembered, as a one-off bash script I didn't use my normal (Python-oriented) project template.

Be aware: Weaknesses I've found with this script are:

• Linux only
• For large projects (I'm looking at you "node_modules") you might have to raise the number of watches your system allows. It's the same command as required to run a large Dropbox on Linux.
• On some filesystems mounted in a virtual machine, while editing the files from my host, but running 'rerun' on the VM, it doesn't recieve any filesystem events. In this situation I use my other project 'rerun', which polls instead of using events.
