Ok, I found a coworker who has an iPod Touch that exhibits the behavor. He's going to let me borrow it, and I think I will be able to use it debug whats going on when I plug it into my Mac. Hopefully if all goes well I can fix it tonight and let it go through the apple app submission queue.
Ok, I identified the bug and commited a change: https://github.com/bitboxer/iphone-passwordmaker/commit/862d826f791246836492bbac93e421747254b241
I have submitted to apple, the fix, which should be available from the app store in 1 to 2 weeks.
My problem is on iOS 4.1, not on older OS versions. Do you think this will fix the 4.1 problem too?
Yes, there is a good chance. I reproduced and tested it on a friend's iPod touch with iOS 4.1. But I am not closing until I see that it does work for everyone else. Unfortunately I have to wait 1 to 2 weeks
As noted here: http://forums.passwordmaker.org/index.php/topic,1715.0.html
And on my own iPod Touch 4G with iOS 4.1, passwordmaker has stopped working and gives only a black screen.
Not sure if this is already covered by the "PasswordMaker on iPhone 3G" issue. If so, you can close this one and add my comments to that one.
