The site is asking for username and password. Not the CMS login page.

I'm also having this issue although I cant see the site in the background just 
the login box with nothing working.

I remember seeing something on the silversripe forums about developing a new 
theme for silverstripe-ecommerce demo site maybe that has something to do with 
it
