Add support for at least one "real" storage backend in the object service.

GCS? AWS? Azure? Oracle? iCloud? Stay tuned to find out!

OK, now that you've stayed tuned: we'll write two backends for the MVP. That should help prevent making future design decisions based on one particular cloud's behaviors. They don't have to be complicated!
