Hacktoberfest is an online challenge where participants need to make 4 valid PR (pull request) to any public repository.
The main goal of this challenge is to bring more people to open-source and make an awareness of it.
To get a valid PR for Hacktoberfest you need to make the PR between 1-31 October 2020.
In the month of September, we prepare for Hactoberfest by learning about PR and more about open-source. That's why Digital Ocean has deemed this month as #Preptember.
