Plugin not working #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Activate Plugin
2. Go to Manage-->Spreadshop
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see the page to configure.  I saw nothing instead

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.8, wordpress 2.3, Firefox, MacOSX

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm testing on a local fresh installation of WordPress 2.3 and I've found 
plugin is
not saving correcly his options.

More in the option page (in admin panel) you see in each field an "a" character.

I've tested version 1.8.0 online in a working 2.3.1 WordPress and it's working 
as
expected.
