An ex-collegue listens to this (haven't listened myself yet :P) Youtube - Full Dustforce OST
\ update ** Listened to Dustforce OST, it's great! :)
Well done to everyone that's kept this going. I'm listening to a lot of melodic dubstep again this week:

I've met a new style (for me new) which is called Deep House as @MethodGrab already posted.
Here is a long playlist with much of Deep House, but also some 'relax' mixes. Enough music for 25 days 24/7 :P https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzF5iNkVfZl3ymF_amhCwCTmDDcGuCxny
New personal goal: make this the longest thread on GitHub :musical_keyboard:
Music I'm coding to today :notes:
Let's do this!
Lately I've been listening to
LIL UGLY MANE - The best rapper alive or dead CATE LE BON - Good girl folk
Lots of JGivens... https://play.spotify.com/album/6wuynJlRfLPKWiNQ2oDtPC
Wow. This is still going :+1:
Currently listening to a lot of trap music. It's a bit of a switch up from the dubstep/electronic stuff I've been listening to while coding for the last year, but I like it. Choice artists:
When I do listen to electronic music, I'm liking Flume, Odesza, Tep No and Vanic :musical_keyboard:
Wow. This is still going :+1:
And I hope it keeps going for a while. This thread is a living book about programmers music listening habits. This was a great idea!
Oh yes, right now I a taking some Alien Shooter 2 Reloaded game soundtrack and will go for some Armin Van Buuren next. Trance helps in keeping you focused.
I've been listening to a lot of synthwave/outrun music lately: https://soundcloud.com/sindresorhus/sets/synthwave
Great for coding.
@sindresorhus I'm really digging this!
Absolutely grooving to chillout lounge music - https://www.youtube.com/user/ChillOutKingIbiza/videos
I guess I'm the odd one out, listening to metal -- from established artists like Dimmu Borgir to my newfound liking for doom/sludge, like Suffer Yourself (https://sufferyourself.bandcamp.com/). And the new Deep Purple album: "inFinite". Yes, Deep Purple lives on! \m/

Big fan of Chillwave, but I've been listening to a bunch of Chillhop and Synthwave recently:

Foo Fighters - There Is Nothing Left To Lose
When I was in my teens standing in a video rental store, I heard a great riff come on that really really resonated with me. I asked the older kids behind the desk what music it was (while someone yelled “the bad kind” in the background hah) and they handed me their Foo Fighters CD. That was the first I had ever heard of the band and the song was Aurora. Flash forward 22 years and it both remains a favorite song…and is what we named one of our teams in Chrome. Only the folks on this thread now know that connection :)
