[Bug]: system marking valid UK postcodes as invalid #885

What happened?

I created a new customer account and tried to add an address with a valid UK postcode. However I was greeted with an error message, and the address was not added.

What did you expect to happen?

The postcode to be recognised as valid and the address to be updated. Same problem across all browsers, nothing in console or system error log.

What browser are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox, Chrome, Safari. TastyIgniter version 3.1.1.

Relevant log output

The Postcode may not be greater than 11] characters.

Have you set your default country to United Kingdom under System > Settings > General?
