Apple Watch Remote is not able to remote Samsung TV #429

Hi, I have recently got an Apple Watch (7) and unfortunate thing is that I cannot remote control my Samsung TV via HomeBridge app, the same way I'm able to control it from my iPhone or other devices. In Apple Watch Remoter app I can see my TV's but and i can select them but no action is passed to HomeBridge app. Now I do understand that this may not be *the same type of the remote like in Control Panel of the iPhone but it would be so handy to be able to control TV from your wrist. Is it possible?

Hi, I was not even aware that Apple Watch has an Remote app :)

Regarding your problem there is nothing i could do since there is no other implementation specific to Remote App. And from what i remember you could not control a homekit TV from Remote app, only from Remote from COntrol Panel.

Also, i'm on the latest software from Apple (iOS and watchOS) and Apple removed the Remote app. If you are on the latest software and you open the Remote app it on your phone it will tell you to remove the app and it will not open. I hate this cause i still have an Apple TV 3 which i was controlling from Remote app since from Remote Control Center you can't ...

Thanks man, I simply love you app and I use it every day for my monitors and TV-s. I thought it may be a long shot for apple watch to control TV.

On another subject, Is there a way to call Samsung TV audio device input (Bluetooth) directly. Currently I'm using a workaround (custom switch) that prompts menu, then Key_left*8, Key_Up, Key_right... and so on. until I get to Bluetooth, and then I have series of Enter, Enter commands to confirm Bluetooth device to connect. This workaround works well but it would be easier if there is a direct call to Audio input. Thanks again.

Unfortunately nope. Samsung API allow us to send keys only that are found on the physical remote.
