TV turns off when first control button pressed after launching remote control #508

I have seen this issue has been discussed in the past and somewhat i was not impacted by it as badly as now, not sure what changed but after latest update i would say it always turns off my TV when I press any control like volume up/down, right left up center any button basically, turns off the TV, then i have to relaunch the control remote and press anything which turns back on the TV and i can control normally from there forward. I leave the phone aside and try again in 10-15 minutes situation repeats. All three TVs and it has been happening all the time. Any suggestions? it started to be annoying :) i found my work around as you see above but sometimes I just want to be quick and i cannot be with this turn on/off and control process. tested new API function but i removed as I do not use those features so not applicable for me. I have normal set up with nothing special, latest node and latest homebridge. Thanks

Hi.

Nothing changed with the last update regarding this issue.

As I told in the previous issues there is a problem with homekit seeing the device as ON. This could be because of slow respond on requests and seeing the device as OFF.

I will look again and see if I can find a solution to this.
