Control TV not Apple TV #513

I've spent a few hours looking through the wiki and closed issues (trying to help myself instead of ask!) and I can't find an answer... Is there a way to force the ios remote control to control only the samsung tv and not an input (in my case an Apple TV)? Really just want to be able to control the Samsung home menu so I can adjust TV settings, etc.. but ios remote control keeps navigating on the Apple TV instead of the Samsung menu

Hi @bosephus19,

Unfortunately there is no way of changing this. Through the API we just send commands just like you would press a key from your physical remote.

What you could do is to disable Universal Control for that input but that will also disable controlling with physical remote.
