Previously working - now not. #625

Hi, I've previously had no issues with this plugin, however since making some changes to my network, I can't get it to work..

I've attempted to start from fresh, but I am unable to get the TV pop up to accept the connection.

Here's what is working

Any ideas?

Hi @VinneyUK,

It's the first time seeing status code 1005. What changes did you do to your network? It is possible that with those changes to block connections, like a firewall?

Could you check in the TV settings if you didn't click deny? But it's strange because if it did it should respond with a 40x status code. https://tavicu.github.io/homebridge-samsung-tizen/installation/pairing-the-device.html#clicked-deny-by-mistake

Also try to hard restart your TV by holding the power button on your physical remote until you see the Samsung logo.

Hi, I changed server IP addresses and set up a reverse proxy.

Although Homebridge runs and always has run on its own independent Hyper V, and has been running fine. I’m guessing there is a setting or IP embedded somewhere in Homebridge which my TV is remembering?

Yeah I’ve literally done everything apart from start a new instance of Homebridge which Is rather avoid for now.

TV pings fine from HB terminal, adds ok to Homekit, it’s a real mystery…
