In determining the display position, I've modified to support Magento layout handles in the Visibility Options.

For example:

Category Page (catalog_category_view)
Product Page (catalog_product_view)
Homepage (cms_index_index)
Search Result Page (catalogsearch_result_index)
Cart Page (checkout_cart_index)
Checkout Page (checkout_onepage_index)
Customer Login Page (customer_account_login)
Customer Account Create Page (customer_account_create)
Customer Account Edit Page (customer_account_edit)
All Pages (default)
Other Magento layout handles you want ....
