The kiex script uses the erl executable path to determine the path of the erlang release file. Problems occuring in (at least) Fedora 22 and its default erlang package are fixed in PR31. Since other distros (or packages) handle their symlinks in another way PR31 seems to break those. This patch considers both cases.
