Currently in vit, there is always one task selected (and matching %) and it starts off as the top-of-the-page task, which moves as one pages through the list. I think this behavior is logically flawed, and could be improved considerably, if there was a new nothing-selected mode and a new "normal" resting position for the selection-bar; on top of the report labels. In other words, when you start vit and you haven't yet made an active selection (by hitting the down-arrow) then what we seen now as the selection-bar stays "parked" on top of the report-labels row until we DO hit the down arrow. This should not be affected by PgUp, PgDn, Home or End, as you should be able to review a list without "declaring" anything selected. Once the selection-bar is engaged with the down-arrow, the task under the cursor is selected. To return to the nothing-selected condition, just move the selection up,up,up until it lands on the label-bar, or just hit the Home-key.

This will allow "none" (or a logical "all") condition, as well as improving the visual clarity of the list. The selection-bar presently obscures the coloration of the topmost task on a page, and with the bar over the report-labels row, the labels are highlighted, not some random, first-position task.
